Building on strong investments and tangible growth across the Northwest Territories (NWT) Tourism sector, the Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) is now looking forward to the next five years of tourism development in the territory.

YELLOWKNIFE (November 7, 2019) – Premier Caroline Cochrane today announced the following changes to the senior management of the Northwest Territories public service:
Tourism numbers in the Northwest Territories (NWT) surpassed existing records again in 2018-19. Over 120,000 people visited the NWT spending more than $210 million in the process.
