September 19, 2011 - Minister of Health and Social Services J. Michael Miltenberger has appointed Peter Clarkson Public Administrator for the Beaufort-Delta Health and Social Services Authority.

Mr. Clarkson is the former mayor of Inuvik and current Regional Director for the Department of the Executive in Inuvik. The Public Administrator assumes the responsibilities of a governing body with respect to operations and finance for the Authority.

Mr. Clarkson replaces Paddy Meade, who resigned as Deputy Minister of Health and Social Services effective September 23, 2011.
