YELLOWKNIFE (July 23, 2013) –Premier Bob McLeod congratulated Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of their son.

“Starting a family is an exciting and rewarding time and I want to offer congratulations on behalf of all the people of the Northwest Territories,” said Premier McLeod. “Many residents have fond memories of Their Royal Highnesses’ visit to the Northwest Territories in July of 2011 and join with them in celebrating this news.”

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge ask those wishing to mark the birth of their son to please donate to a local children’s charity.
