Job Information
The Territorial Manager, Physiotherapy is based in Yellowknife and reports to the Director, Rehabilitation and Continuing Care. This position provides operational leadership for Yellowknife Physiotherapy programs and strategic leadership for Physiotherapy Services across the NTHSSA .
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides territorial leadership for Physiotherapy Services to support consistent, high-quality, client-centred care across the NWT
- Leads strategic planning, program development, evaluation, and quality improvement aligned with system and accreditation standards
- Collaborates with regional, territorial, Indigenous, and government partners to address current and future service needs
- Oversees staffing, performance management, workforce development, and succession planning
- Manages financial resources, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation, managing a $1.5M operating budget.
- Develops and maintains territorial policies, standards, and clinical guidelines
- Contributes to NTHSSA leadership, decision-making, and committees
- May provide direct physiotherapy care and support community and outreach service delivery as required
Key Qualifications:
- Master's in Physiotherapy
AND
- Five (5) years of clinical physiotherapy practice.
Equivalent qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy
AND
- Ten (10) years of clinical physiotherapy practice
Additional Requirements:
- Maintain membership in Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) and licensure as a Physiotherapist in a Canadian province.

Labour Market Supplement
The successful incumbent will receive a $10,000 supplement upon hire and an additional $10,000 supplement after completion of 12 months of continuous employment contingent on remaining employed in an eligible position for a further 12 months. This is a taxable benefit and will be subject to applicable deductions

Salary Information
The salary range for this position is from $62.38 per hour to $74.51per hour (approximately $121,641. - $145,295.) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,700.
