The Department of Finance has the mandate to provide leadership and direction to the public service in all areas of finance and human resource management. Job Information
The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) is seeking a Content Suite Administrator to support the ongoing operation, enhancement, and evolution of the GNWT's enterprise Content Suite platform.
Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Content Management, this role provides specialized technical expertise, application development, and business analysis to ensure the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of a critical GNWT-wide information management system.
Content Suite is a foundational platform used across the GNWT to manage the lifecycle of physical and electronic information - from capture through to archiving and disposition. This position plays a key role in ensuring information is accessible, secure, and supports evidence-based decision-making across government.
Key Responsibilites:
- Design, develop, and maintain custom software solutions, scripts, and integrations to extend platform capabilities, automate processes, and support evolving business requirements.
- Lead the administration and maintenance of the Content Suite Platform, including system configuration, upgrades, patching, and ensuring overall performance and reliability.
- Provide advanced technical and database support, including troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and managing SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments.
- Conduct business and systems analysis to translate client needs into effective technical solutions, workflows, and system enhancements.
- Develop and manage reporting and analytics, including creating reports and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, SQL Reporting) to support decision-making and operational insights.
- Support enterprise-wide implementation and continuous improvement, working with departments, vendors, and project teams to enhance functionality, processes, and information management practices.
Key Qualifications:
- A relevant diploma with 3 years of experience.
Relevant Diploma in the following fields will be considered:
- Information Technology
- Computer Systems Technology
- Computer Programming
- Information Systems
- Information Management
The following experience may be considered:
- Administering or supporting enterprise applications
- Database administration and development
- Application support and troubleshooting
- Systems analysis and business analysis
- Information managment/ records management systems
Equivalencies that may be considered:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Information Technology with 1 year of expereince in the following areas:
- Administering or supporting enterprise applications
- Database administration and development
- Application support and troubleshooting
- Systems analysis and business analysis
- Information managment/ records management systems

Salary Information
The salary range for this position is from $59.62 per hour to $71.22 per hour (approximately $116,259 - $138,879.) plus an annual Northern Allowance of 3,700.
