Job Information

Join the Commission scolaire francophone des Territoires du Nord-Ouest (CSFTNO) and play a key role in supporting technology across our schools and central office. Based in Yellowknife, the Technology Coordinator ensures that staff and students have reliable, secure, and effective technology tools to support learning and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, networks, and communication systems.
  • Maintain and manage computers, servers, Chromebooks, printers, interactive whiteboards, and other technology equipment.
  • Support cybersecurity, data backups, user access management, and system upgrades.
  • Provide technology training and guidance to staff.
  • Coordinate and maintain educational technology systems, including student information systems and digital learning tools.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Completion of a Computer or Information Systems diploma program and one (1) year of application, network and systems experience.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • French language proficiency is required.

Equivalencies

  • A Bachelor of Science  in Computer Science and a minimum of 1 year application, network and systems experience.
