On January 23, 2019 Officer Erin Goose and Officer Laurel McDonald examined the area where the spill had occurred, it seems that it is frozen. Two of the Town of Norman Wells employees: Utilities Manager: Hugo Pabke and the utilities operator were notified that the area has to be cleaned up. They will be using soda ash on the area.
