The spill has been terminated and contained, no further spillage is possible, and no further risks are posed to the environment and/or human health and safety;

In accordance with the NT/NU spills working agreement ECCC was identified as the lead agency for this spill. EO DIDHAM has determined that this spill is closed as per the following spills working group agreement criteria:
1. The spill has been terminated and contained, no further spillage is possible, and no further risks are posed to the environment and/or human health and safety;
2. The spill has been cleaned up to accepted environmental/regulatory standards and the spilled products and contaminated materials have been appropriately disposed of;
3. The impacted environment has been restored to a condition acceptable to the Lead Agency.
