CIRNAC received a complaint from Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd. The location was inspected by Jakob VOISEY and Christine WILSON, 45 Drums were counted at this location. The drums were half buried into the ground and appeared to be at this location for a long period of time. The drums are rusted and the paint is faded. Two drums had leaked onto the tundra. 30 drums are estimated to be full or partially full of an unknown hydrocarbon. The spill location is estimated to be within 65m of Amer Lake.
