On 16-Aug-2020, POL technicians at CAM-2 (North Warning System Site, Simpson Lake) noticed a fuel leak on the 1/2" line coming from the Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) to the summit tanks. A drip tray was placed under the leak as soon as it was discovered. Upon investigation, the technicians identified a broken thread on 1/2" pipe which is to be rethreaded. An area of ~2m² of gravel was impacted. The contaminated area was picked up with shovels and transferred into a salvage drum. The exact quantity of the spill is to be determined.
