This spill was reviewed by Resource Management Officer K Amsel and the location was inspected. There are not outstanding remediation concerns and the spill is considered closed remediated.

This file will remain open and form part of the Abandonment and Reclamation Plan for the project, The spill has occurred in a place which it can not be cleaned unless a key piece of infrastructure is removed.

The responsible party provided a map of the location of the spill. Two field officers will be going into site with a representative from the Inuit organization tomorrow after Sept 25th, 2020
