As per email I sent this morning to Albert Bourque ; Brad McInnes Tony Vermillion ; Daniel Allaire ; Lee Ross ; Donald Roberts Good morning, I spoke with the Spill Reporter (SAO in Enterprise) Tammy Neal this morning to follow up on the above noted spill. Apparently the spill has been cleaned up as much as possible and contaminated snow and waste was put in containers by the spill Generator (Eric Bertrand). I advised that the waste be taken to a registered Receiver for proper disposal. I recommended Carter's Soil Treatment facility in Hay River, but noted that the Generator is free to use the registered Receiver of their choice. I noted that a visual inspection of the site will be required in spring to ensure any residual contaminated material is cleaned up. I also indicated that an Officer would be by at some point to assess the site. Lee or Don, please update the spill line and spills database with the above information.
