In discussions with the Spill Reporter (Jesse Foote) last week (Wednesday June 23rd), it was noted that Town samplers may have stirred up solids (i.e.algae and bio matter) in the manhole at SNP 567-2 while sampling, which lead to high Total Suspended Solid levels (over license EQC limit -200 mg/l). This was an isolated incident, but both the Licensee, Inspector and MVLWB will review forthcoming results for this SNP station to see if there are any increasing trends for this parameter.
