Received on March 30 at 09:32 Reaching out to request an extension to submit the supplemental 30 day reporting to the CER and GWNT ENR for the recent Methanol spill (2022-042 / 2022062) reported on March 4, 2022. Full environmental clean-up has already been completed during the day of the release on March 3, 2022. On March 28th, IOL and the CER met as part of a quarterly operational awareness meeting and there was a request to further investigate the incident from a process safety standpoint regarding any potential fire risks. As a result we have re-opened the incident investigation and would like additional time to complete the investigation through this new lens. I’ve attached the initial notification for reference. Please confirm if an April 14th submission would be permitted. It is likely that the investigation will wrap up sooner with an earlier submission.
