Spill report updated by ECCC NEEC LTa Occurrence Date: 2022-08-12 Occurrence Time: 1:00 pm Product Spilled: Propylene glycol Quantity: 7L Spill Source: Heating loop valve Spill Cause: Over pressure boiler loop Area of Contamination: 5 square meters Assitance Required: Called Boiler Tech for inspection Additional Information: Emd Plant heating loop valve started leaking and approximately 5L of propylene glycol mix was spilled on the floor. The product was cleaned up and put into waste barrels. Operations opened up othe sections of the heating loop to stop the leaks.
