As per the NT/NU spills working group agreement, ECCC is lead agency for spills that are located on lands occupied by Department of National Defense. ECCC is closing the spill file: The spill has been terminated and contained. The spill has been cleaned up to acceptable environmental/regulatory standards. The impacted environment has been restored to a condition acceptable to Environment and Climate Change Canada who is the lead agency for this file
