CCG has completed their assessment of the incident and has determined that the floating home does not meet the definition of a “vessel” in either the CSA, 2001 and WAHVA legislation. The floating home is free of Hydrocarbons and currently is sitting partially submerged on its moorings. After discussions with GNWT on Friday June 9th CCG is transferring responsibility to the GNWT.
