Inspector Lila VOUDRACH conducted an inspection at the Ajgaliaq Community Centre at or around 1400 hours on October 4, 2023. The site requires further cleanup. Inspector VOUDRACH met with SAO Betty HAOGAK to inform her that the site requires cleanup. Because the ground was freezing in Sachs Harbour, Inspector VOUDRACH told HAOGAK that she would allow the Hamlet of Sachs Harbour to resume cleanup after spring thaw (June 2024). This file will remain open until the site is cleaned and the contaminated soil is shipped to a registered receiver.
