July 15th 2024 at 11;30 a.m. Officer Doctor checked the spill of ethylene glycol at Tulita Power Plant Crew of 3 on July 14th replaced a power plant motor and just before 12 replacing the glycol line. After lunch, crew noticed low level in glycol, traced the line and found a leak on a connection to a High-Pressure Relief Value. Crew stopped the leak, approx. 90L of ethylene glycol leak on the gravel path, this happen outside, crew did clean contaminated area. Contaminated gravel placed in Spill kit container, this will be stored in their yard and will be hauled out on Winter Road to a licensed facility
