Apply for a Land Use Permit - Inuvialuit Settlement Region (ISR)

Inuvialuit Settlement Region Land Use Permit is required to conduct a land use activity on Territorial lands that is above the threshold set out in the Northwest Territories Land Use Regulations

Land use permits are issued by the Department of Environment and Climate Change on Territorial lands and the Inuvialuit Regional Corporation on Inuvialuit lands.

Before you apply: Applicants are encouraged to reach out to the Department of Environment and Climate Change to determine if your activity requires a land use permit. You may email ECC_BeaufortDelta@gov.nt.ca to set up an appointment.

  • $250 for Class A or a Class B permit + land use fees
