The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) has released the What We Heard: 2022 Anti-Poverty Roundtable report.
This report summarizes the main discussions and themes surrounding housing and homelessness discussed during the Anti-Poverty Roundtable held May 3-4, 2022 in Yellowknife and virtually.
Some of the topics explored at this year’s event include:
- Housing priorities in NWT communities
- Community-based housing and homelessness solutions
- Research partnerships to address NWT housing and homelessness questions
- Integrating housing and homelessness services with other support service delivery

The GNWT is committed to reducing poverty in the Northwest Territories (NWT) by working with its partners to advance the Territorial Anti-Poverty Action Plan. An essential part of this effort is acting as a convener for annual Anti-Poverty Roundtable gatherings of Indigenous and community governments, non-government organizations, community service providers, charitable and philanthropic entities, and the private sector.
