Mr. Speaker, I am pleased to welcome Members back to the Legislative Assembly for our spring sitting.
Our first months as an Assembly were spent working together to define our priorities and agree on a mandate for the government.

VANCOUVER (May 5, 2016) – Deputy Premier Robert C. McLeod announced today that the Government of the Northwest Territories will donate $50,000 to the Canadian Red Cross Alberta Fires Appeal.
YELLOWKNIFE (May 4, 2016) – NWT Premier Bob McLeod issued the following statement on the fires in Fort McMurray, Alberta today:
YELLOWKNIFE (April 29, 2016) Premier Bob McLeod has named Ms. Kate Hearn as acting Deputy Minister of the Department of Lands.
Ms. Hearn replaces Mr. Mark Warren on May 8, who is retiring from the Government of the Northwest Territories.
