The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) is seeking members for the Student Financial Assistance Appeal (SFA) Board, for terms beginning December 1, 2022.
The Board was established to hear second level appeals when applicants do not agree with decisions of SFA program staff or the Internal Review Group. The SFA Appeal Board is made up of five members appointed by the Minister of ECE, one of whom must be a post-secondary student.
The Board may affirm, reverse or vary a decision according to applicable legislation, policies and procedures. Remuneration is provided.
