Residents and retailers in the NWT can now access CannSell Online Training — a free, territory-specific course designed to support safe and responsible cannabis sales.

The CannSell course provides guidance to cannabis retailers and their employees on topics such as:

• the NWT Cannabis Act and Regulations and compliance requirements
• responsible service and sales practices
• recognizing impairment and refusing sales when required
• record-keeping, inspections, and staff responsibilities
• legal liabilities and public safety considerations

The training will be accessible online through the Northwest Territories Liquor and Cannabis Commission (NTLCC) website, allowing participants to complete it remotely at their own pace.
