YELLOWKNIFE (December 14, 2012) – Today, Robert C. McLeod, Minister of Municipal and Community Affairs (MACA) announced the launch of a new website for the department.

“Today, people want quick access to information and services from their government. Our new website provides this and much more,” said Minister McLeod. “The new site will improve MACA’s approach to e-services for programs and includes new features that will help the department better serve the residents of the NWT.”

The new website has been completely redesigned with a focus on user needs. Site content is organized by user group and makes information easier to find and access. With improved search features, online forms and applications, and a design optimized for mobile devices and smartphones, the website will help residents and community governments find information on MACA’s programs and services.

MACA continues to improve its departmental websites to better serve NWT residents and to further reduce any barriers to accessing government programs and services.
