Yellowknife — June 14, 2023
Effective July 15, 2023, Yellowknife Airport will no longer allow street parking on airport property on Bristol Court, Bristol Avenue and Berry Street. This will allow for more efficient and effective maintenance activities on airport property.
Previously, paid parking had been allowed in these areas through a pay-by-phone service. All pay-by-phone signage will be replaced with no parking signs. Notices will be posted on parked vehicles by June 15. All vehicles remaining parked at the locations mentioned above on and after July 15, 2023, will be towed at owner’s expense.
Parking will still be available in the long-term energized parking lot on Bristol Avenue. The fee to park a vehicle is $7.50 for each 24-hour period to a maximum of $150 per month.
