The annual ballot draw for 2023 extended-stay campsites at Prelude and Reid Lake Territorial Parks will take place on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at the École Allain St-Cyr Gymnasium in Yellowknife.
Doors will open from 1 p.m. to 2:25 p.m. for registration and completion of ballots. The draw will begin at 2:30 p.m.
Ten full-season campsites and 80 half-season campsites will be available as follows:
Prelude Lake
20 permits available May 15 to July 15………………………$525 (includes GST)
20 permits available July 15 to September 15…….………$525 (includes GST)
Reid Lake
20 permits available May 15 to July 15………………………$525 (includes GST)
20 permits available July 15 to September 15…….………$525 (includes GST)
10 permits available May 15 to September 15…………$1,050 (includes GST)
Recreation Vehicle registration and payment will be required to enter the ballot. Only money orders and bank drafts made out to the Government of the Northwest Territories will be accepted.
Online reservations for summer camping will open April 4th-7th at www.nwtparks.ca.
