The Government of the Northwest Territories is inviting residents to upcoming community engagement sessions on the Norman Wells to Inuvik section of the Mackenzie Valley Highway.
The GNWT is seeking feedback on a proposed corridor for this section of the highway. The corridor has not been finalized, and community input will help inform future planning.
Residents are invited to review information, ask questions, and share their feedback and local knowledge.
Community engagement sessions are planned from July 6–9 in:
- July 6 – Aklavik, Sittichinli Recreational Complex, 5 pm
- July 7 – Inuvik, Ingamo Friendship Centre, 5 pm
- July 8 – Tsiigehtchic, School Gym, 5 pm
- July 9 – Fort McPherson, Community Hall, 5 pm
