Have your say on the future of the Mackenzie Valley Highway

Public Service Announcement

The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) is inviting residents to upcoming community engagement sessions on the Mackenzie Valley Highway (MVH).

The GNWT is seeking feedback on the project plan, how it may affect communities, and ways to reduce any negative impacts.

The corridor has not been finalized, and community input will help inform project planning.

Residents are invited to review information, ask questions, and share their feedback and local knowledge.

The following community engagement sessions are planned for:

  • Tsiigehtchic: October 6, Chief Paul Niditchie Gymnasium, 5-8pm
  • Fort McPherson: October 7, Council Chambers, 5-8pm
  • Inuvik: October 8, Ingamo Friendship Centre, 5-8pm

The original two sessions in Tsiigehtchic have now been combined into a single session on October 6.
