The Government of the Northwest (GNWT) is looking for resident feedback on government websites and their usability.
Residents are invited to complete a survey to provide their input. In the survey, they will be asked how they use government websites, what information they are searching for, what information is important to them, and what parts of the websites they feel work well compared to what they feel can be improved.
This survey is part of a major project aimed at improving GNWT websites. The objective is to rewrite and reorganize websites so that they make more sense to residents, and to make it easier to people to find the information, programs and services they are looking for.
Feedback from residents will be used to inform these changes. Some improvements will be made to GNWT websites quickly, while many of the broader changes will take time.
This survey is the first of two waves of user research that will be used to inform website changes. The GNWT will also be holding a series of focus groups to inform this project. Individuals interested in participating in a focus group will be invited to opt in by sharing their name and email address at the end of the survey.
The survey can be accessed here and will be open from May 2-19, 2023.
