As part of the proposed Lockhart All-Season Road (LASR) project, the Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) is inviting residents to provide feedback as it prepares to submit a land use permit application to the Mackenzie Valley Land and Water Board.
The application is being prepared for the GNWT to perform geotechnical investigations between Tibbitt Lake and Lockhart Lake. Geotechnical investigations are one of many ways the GNWT gathers data about a project site. In this case, they would be undertaken to assess possible hard-rock quarries and granular resources as material to construct the proposed LASR.

- In-Person
- August 21, 2023; Explorer Hotel, Yellowknife (6 p.m. – 8 p.m.)
- August 22, 2023; Chief Drygeese Centre, Dettah (2 p.m. – 4 p.m.)
