May 2, 2011 - Industry, Tourism and Investment Minister Bob McLeod and Nunakput MLA and Standing Committee on Economic Development and Infrastructure member Jackie Jacobson, will be in Houston, Texas from May 2-5 attending the 2011 Offshore Technology Energy Conference.  Along with attending meetings with key industry stakeholders, they will promote oil and gas development in the Northwest Territories.

The Offshore Technology Conference is one of the largest annual trade shows in the United States. Attendance at the event consistently exceeds 50,000 and more than 2,000 companies participate, representing 40 countries.
