Minister of Health and Social Services Attends Flu Shot Clinic

YELLOWKNIFE (October 22, 2010) - The Minister of Health and Social Services Sandy Lee will be attending the first public flu clinic at Northern United Place in Yellowknife on October 25, 2010 at noon to receive her seasonal flu shot.

Each year, the flu shot is provided free of charge to the public as a means of helping to prevent the flu.  People from six months to five years, as well as seniors and other high risk groups are urged to get the flu shot to protect themselves and others from the annual flu bug.

Minister Lee will be available for photographs and to discuss the importance of the annual flu shot as a means of staying healthy this flu season.
