Ministerial Travel 

Please note that travel schedules may change with little or no notice. This schedule is accurate as of April 28, 2025. 
 

  • Minister McKay will be traveling to Edmonton, AB, from April 30-May 1 to attend the Westac Spring Members Forum.
  • Premier Simpson will be traveling to Haines Junction, YT, from May 1-4 to attend the Northern Premiers’ Forum.
  • Premier Simpson, Minister Cleveland, Minister Kuptana, Minister Macdonald, Minister McKay, Minister Semmler, and Minister Wawzonek will be traveling to Behchokǫ̀ on May 5 to attend the Tłı̨chǫ Government Bilateral Meeting.

  • Minister Cleveland will be touring K'àlemì Dene School and meeting Ndilǫ District Education Authority trustees on April 29 in Ndilǫ.
  • Minister Macdonald will be virtually meeting with Dr. Marta-Marika Urbanik, Associate Professor of Criminology and Sociology, Centre for Criminological Research, Department of Sociology, University of Alberta on April 29.
  • Minister Wawzonek will be attending the public briefing with Standing Committee on Accountability and Oversight regarding Territorial Formula Financing on April 29 Yellowknife.
  • Minister Semmler will be attending the Standing Committee of Social Development briefing on Primary Health Care Reform on April 30 in Yellowknife.
  • Minister Cleveland will be meeting the NWT Literacy Council on April 30 in Yellowknife.
  • Minister Cleveland will be meeting leadership from Bushkids on May 1 in Yellowknife.
  • Minister Cleveland will be virtually attending the NWT Teachers Association Annual Meeting of Central Council (AMCC) on May 2.
  • Minister Cleveland will be virtually attending the Pacific Northwest Economic Region Executive Committee on May 2.
