Ministerial Activities Advisory for the week of December 9-15, 2025

Ministerial Travel

• Minister McKay will be traveling to Toronto, ON, on December 8 to attend the Infrastructure FPT.
• Minister Wawzonek will be traveling to Calgary, AB, on December 9 to meet with Dawn Farrell, Chief Executive Officer of the Major Projects Office (MPO), of Canada
• Minister Wawzonek will be traveling to Ottawa, ON, from December 10 to 11 to:
  • Meet with The Honourable Tim Hodgson, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Canada (December 10)
  • Attend the Provincial and Territorial Finance Ministers’ Meeting (December 10)
  • Meet with The Honourable Rebecca Alty, Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs (December 10)
  • Attend the Federal, Provincial and Territorial - Finance Ministers’ Meeting (December 11)

• Minister Semmler will be attending the Public Administrator and Regional Wellness Chairs Forum on December 9 in Yellowknife.
• Minister McKay will be meeting with Jimmy Mendow of Willowlake Environmental & Alex Burkinshaw of Kalo Due Limited Partnership on December 10 in Yellowknife.
• Minister Cleveland will be virtually attending the Forum of Ministers Responsible for Immigration (FMRI) Ministers meeting on December 10.
• Minister McKay will be meeting with Chief Melania Norwegian-Menacho, Tthets’éhk’édélı First Nation on December 10 in Yellowknife.
• Premier Simpson will be speaking at the Bridge Watch Rating Graduation on December 12 in Hay River.
• Minister Cleveland will be virtually attending the Forum of Labour Market Ministers (FLMM) Ministers Meeting on Youth Employment in Canada on December 12.
