Ministerial Activities Advisory for the week of February 17-23, 2026

Ministerial Travel

• Minister McKay will be traveling to Vancouver, BC, from February 19-20 to attend the FPT Ministers Responsible for Transportation and Highway Safety.
   

Meetings and Appearances

• Minister Cleveland will be attending the NWT Teachers’ Association Teachers’ Conference on February 18 in Yellowknife.
• Minister Cleveland and Minister Wawzonek will be virtually meeting with Jeff Hussey, President, CEO, and Mike Aumond, Strategic Adviser of Pine Point Mining Ltd on February 19.
• Premier Simpson, Minister Macdonald, Minister Cleveland, Minister Semmler, Minister Wawzonek and Minister Kuptana will be virtually attending the NWT Council of Leaders Meeting on February 20.
• Minister Cleveland will be meeting with the NWT Teachers’ Association on February 20 in Yellowknife.
• Minister Wawzonek will be attending a constituency meeting with Kate Reid, MLA of Great Slave, on February 21 in Yellowknife.
• Minister Cleveland will be meeting with the Dene Nation on February 23 in Yellowknife.
• Minister Cleveland will be meeting with the Official Languages Board on February 23 in Yellowknife.
