Ministerial Activities Advisory for the week of March 24-30, 2026

Ministerial Travel

• Minister Cleveland and Minister Macdonald will be traveling to Calgary, AB, March 26 to:
  • Attend the Arctic Energy Resource Symposium
  • Attend a dinner with the Japanese Consulate
• Minister Cleveland will be traveling to Ottawa, ON, March 29-30 to attend the Committee on Internal Trade (CIT) meeting.

• Minister Macdonald will be hosting Standing Committee on Economic Development and Environment Members and IG leaders on a Tibbitt to Contwoyto Winter Road tour on March 23 in Yellowknife.
• Minister McKay will be attending a SCEDE Briefing on Phase II of the Yellowknife Airport Gateway Strategy on March 24 in Yellowknife.
• Minister Cleveland will be with the Chairperson for Ndilǫ District Education Authority (NDEA) on March 24 in Yellowknife.
• Premier Simpson, Minister Cleveland, and Minister Macdonald will be attending the “Last Ore” Tour at Diavik Diamond mine on March 25.
• Minister Wawzonek will be meeting (virtually) with The Honourable Rebecca Alty, Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs of Canada on March 26
• Minister Wawzonek will be meeting with Marc Whiford, President of the North Slave Métis Alliance on March 30 in Yellowknife.
• Minister McKay will be attending I-402 Incident Command System training session for MLAs on March 30
