Ministerial Travel 

Please note that travel schedules may change with little or no notice. This schedule is accurate as of May 26, 2025. 
 

  • Premier Simpson will be traveling to Saskatoon, SK, from June 1-2 to attend the First Ministers’ Meeting.
  • Minister Semmler and Minister Wawzonek will be traveling to Ottawa, ON, on June 2 to meet with Federal Ministers.

  • Minister Kuptana will be meeting with City of Yellowknife Mayor, Ben Hendriksen, on May 26 in Yellowknife.
  • Premier Simpson, Minister Cleveland and Minister Macdonald will be attending the unveiling of Premier Cochrane’s portrait in the Great Hall on May 27 in Yellowknife
  • Minister Cleveland will be meeting with a delegation from the Colleges of Nursing and Dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan on May 28 in Yellowknife.
  • Minister Cleveland will be virtually chairing a meeting of the Committee on Internal Trade regarding the Canadian Free Trade Agreement on May 29.
  • Minister Kuptana will be Meeting with WINMAR, MLA Hawkins, MLA Testart, and MLA Edjericon on May 30 in Yellowknife.
  • Minister Kuptana will be Attending a virtual Northern Territories Ministers Meeting with Jeanie McLean, Yukon Minister Responsible for the Women and Gender Equity Directorate, and Margaret Nakashuk, Nunavut Minister Responsible for the Status of Women on May 30.
  • Minister Cleveland and Minister Semmler will be attending the Aurora College Convocation on May 30 in Yellowknife.
  • Minister Cleveland will be attending the NWT/NU Mine Rescue Competition on May 31 in Yellowknife.
