Ministerial Activities Advisory for the week of November 25 – December 1, 2025

Ministerial Travel 

Please note that travel schedules may change with little or no notice. This schedule is accurate as of November 24, 2025. 

• Premier Simpson, Minister McKay and Minister Macdonald will be traveling to Fort Resolution on November 26 to attend the Akaitcho Territory Government Assembly.
• Minister Semmler will be traveling to the Nahendeh Region from November 24-29 to participate in a Constituency Tour with MLA Thompson.
• Premier Simpson will be traveling to Ottawa, ON November 28 – 29 to:
  • Meet with Federal Ministers on November 28
  • Attend the Press Gallery Dinner on November 29

• Minister Wawzonek will be participating as a panelist on Arctic Economic Security Corridor at the Yellowknife Geoscience Forum on November 25 in Yellowknife.
• Minister Kuptana will be providing a Keynote Address at the Women in Mining and Energy Annual General Meeting on November 25 in Yellowknife.
• Minister Cleveland and Minister Wawzonek will be attending the Mining and Exploration (MAX) awards on November 25 in Yellowknife
• Minister Cleveland will be participating as a panelist in Delivering the Next Generation of Mineral Resource Projects at the Yellowknife Geoscience Forum on November 26 in Yellowknife.
• Minister Cleveland will be virtually participating in the Forum of Labour Market Ministers video conference on November 26.
• Minister Cleveland, Minister Kuptana and Minister Wawzonek will be participating in the Meet the Leaders event at the Yellowknife Geoscience Forum on November 26 in Yellowknife.
• Minister Wawzonek will be attending the Tłı̨chǫ Investment Corporation, Great Slave Helicopters and WSP Networking Cocktail Reception on November 26 in Yellowknife.
• Minister Cleveland will be participating as panelist in the Mineral Potential in Arctic Canada at the Yellowknife Geoscience Forum on November 27 in Yellowknife.
• Minister Wawzonek will be participating as a panelist on Resilience: Economic Corridors and Arctic Sovereignty at the Yellowknife Geoscience Forum on November 27 in Yellowknife.
• Minister Cleveland and Minister Wawzonek will be attending the Hearts of Gold Charity Auction & Dinner on November 27 Yellowknife.
• Minister Kuptana will be holding an opening event marking the completion of the Aspen Apartments Modernization Project on November 27 in Yellowknife.
