Ministerial Travel 

Please note that travel schedules may change with little or no notice. This schedule is accurate as of October 20, 2025. 

  • Minister McKay will be traveling to Behchokǫ̀, NT, on October 24 to attend the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Frank Channel Bridge.
  • Minister Wawzonek will be traveling to Toronto, ON, on October 26 to attend the CEO’s Dinner Reception for The Canadian Council for Public Private Partnerships.
  • Minister Wawzonek will be traveling to Toronto, ON, on October 27 to speak as a panelist at Canada’s Infrastructure Conference.

  • Premier Simpson will be attending and presenting awards at the Premier’s Award Ceremony in the Great Hall on October 22 in Yellowknife.
  • Minister Wawzonek and Minister Cleveland will be virtually co-chairing the Federal, Provincial and Territorial Energy and Mines Ministers’ Meeting (EMMM) with Tim Hodgson, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources on October 24.
  • Minister Cleveland will be meeting with Norman Wells Mayor, Frank Pope, on October 24 in Yellowknife.
  • Minister Cleveland will be attending a Northwest Territories Teachers’ Association (NWTTA) Executive Leadership and Planning meeting on October 24 in Yellowknife.
  • Minister Cleveland will be presenting the Breakout Award at the Yellowknife Chamber Business Gala on October 24 in Yellowknife.
  • Minister McKay will be speaking at the NWT Fire Chiefs Association 2025 Learning Symposium on October 24 in Yellowknife.
  • Minister McKay will be virtually meeting with Acho Dene Koe First Nation on October 24.
