Ministerial Activities Advisory for the week of September 16-22, 2025

Ministerial Travel 

Please note that travel schedules may change with little or no notice. This schedule is accurate as of September 15, 2025. 

• Premier Simpson will be traveling to Ottawa, ON, on September 16 to speak at the Industrial Policy Conference hosted by the Institute for Research on Public Policy.
• Premier Simpson and Minister Wawzonek will be traveling to Ottawa, ON, to meet with the following Federal Ministers:
  • François-Philippe Champagne, Finance and National Revenue on September 17.
  • Tim Hodgson, Energy and Natural Resources and Rebecca Chartrand, Northern and Arctic Affairs on September 18.
• Premier Simpson will be traveling to Ottawa, ON, to meet with the following Federal Ministers:
  • David McGuinty, National Defence on September 18
  • Rebecca Alty, Crown-Indigenous Relations on September 18
• Premier Simpson will be traveling to Ottawa, ON, on September 18 to provide opening remarks at a panel event organized by the Wilfrid Laurier University called Laurier and the North: Securing Canada’s Sovereignty and Future Through Research and Global Strategy.
• Minister Wawzonek will be traveling to Toronto, ON, on September 18-19 to attend the Provincial-Territorial Energy Summit.
• Minister Semmler will be attending a Lutsel K’e constituency tour on September 19 with MLA Edjericon.
• Minister Wawzonek will be traveling to Kananaskis, AB, on September 21-22 to attend the Federal, Provincial, and Territorial Annual Symposium on Digital Trust and Cybersecurity.
• Minister Semmler will be traveling to Banff, AB, on September 22 for the Provincial-Territorial Health Minister Meeting.
• Minister Semmler will be traveling to Banff, AB, on September 22 to meet with the Alberta Minister of Mental Health and Addiction.

• Minister Wawzonek will be meeting virtually with Honourable Nathan Neudorf,  Minister of Affordability and Utilities, Government of Alberta, on September 16.
• Minister Cleveland will be meeting virtually with BC Minister of Mining and Critical Minerals Jagrup Brar on September 16.
• Minister Cleveland will be meeting virtually with Ministers from the Energy and Mines Ministers’ Conference on September 19.
