April 8, 2011 - Ministerial Responsibilities for the Status of Women have been assumed by Premier Floyd K. Roland effective today.

The Premier confirmed that all other Ministerial portfolios will remain unchanged – this includes the March 28, 2011 assignment of the Department of Health and Social Services and Responsibilities for Seniors, the Homeless and Persons with Disabilities to Minister J. Michael Miltenberger.

Yesterday, members of the 16th Assembly decided not to fill the Cabinet position vacated by former Range Lake MLA Sandy Lee.

References to Ministerial portfolios being left vacant in a Legislative Assembly news release yesterday were erroneous.
