Yellowknife Airport (YZF) is pleased to announce the addition of brand-new concession seating in the air terminal building.
 

This upgrade is designed to enhance the travel experience, providing a more comfortable and welcoming space where visitors can relax, enjoy a meal, or simply unwind before their journey. Whether grabbing a quick coffee or a bite to eat, the new seating area offers the perfect spot to sit back and recharge.
 

The new furniture was funded through the YZF Revolving Fund which was established by the Government of the Northwest Territories on July 1, 2017 to support the capital, operating and maintenance needs of the airport. This fund allows for significant improvements to YZF, like the seating upgrades, that enhance services for users and support the airport as an economic driver for the entire North.
 

The Yellowknife Airport is committed to making every part of the journey through YZF as enjoyable as possible, and this is just one of the ways the experience is being improved.
