YELLOWKNIFE (March 3, 2016) — A Yellowknife-based organization will spread the love of film to communities across the Northwest Territories (NWT) this March.
The Yellowknife International Film Festival (YKIFF) Road Tour — an annual event coordinated by Western Arctic Moving Pictures (WAMP) — will screen NWT and Yukon-produced films alongside select international features in each region of the NWT.
The Government of the Northwest Territories’ (GNWT) Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment (ITI) provides financial support for the annual tour, which will have five stops over a two-week span.
The YKIFF Road Tour will be in Norman Wells today, Hay River March 4, Inuvik March 5, Fort Smith March 11, and Fort Simpson on March 19.
