Municipal and Community Affairs (MACA) Minister Vince McKay has appointed Tom Beaulieu as the new Administrator for the Hamlet of Fort Resolution.
Mr. Beaulieu will continue the work to stabilize operations and address the challenges that the Hamlet has faced. The community has been under Administration since June 5, 2023 in an exceptional measure deemed necessary to address financial and operational challenges.
MACA will work closely with Mr. Beaulieu to maintain a strong community and to position the community to elect a new council once operations have been stabilized.
Mr. Beaulieu has a wealth of experience for the position, including his work as a Member of the Legislative Assembly and Cabinet Minister in the Northwest Territories, President of the NWT Housing Corporation, and more recently as the CEO of TuNedhe Consultants Ltd.
MACA would like to thank outgoing Administrator Mr. Shawn Stuckey for all his hard work during his time in the role, and wish him well in his future endeavours.
