The Department of Health and Social Services is seeking feedback from professionals and the public on the proposed Naturopathic Profession Regulations. Input from public and stakeholder engagement in 2016 helped inform the development of these proposed regulations. An Advisory Committee with representation from the NWT Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta, and the Department of Health and Social Services was established to help develop these proposed regulations.
Establishing these regulations will provide professionals and their patients with a clear understanding of what is required of the professional and what can be expected by the patient.
