YELLOWKNIFE (February 28, 2013) – Business owners across the Northwest Territories were honoured for their achievements at the inaugural Frozen Globe Awards, held last week by Up Here Business magazine with support from the Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment (ITI).

“I want to offer my congratulations to Up Here Business for envisioning this night, and more importantly, for making it happen,” said Minister of ITI David Ramsay, who addressed the event attendees. “Every month, Up Here Business provides its readers with a showcase of the ingenuity, energy and hard work that characterize the investors and entrepreneurs that make up our region’s unique and exciting economic environment. I also want to congratulate all of the award winners and nominees of the Frozen Globe Awards, and thank them for their hard work and dedication. Entrepreneurs are a primary force in driving the economy across our North.”
