The Department of Education, Culture and Employment’s (ECE) North Slave Regional and Community Service Centres in Yellowknife and Behchokǫ̀’s office hours will change starting Wednesday, December 3. Both offices will be open to the public Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

These office hours will remain in place for at least six months, with the aim to improve administrative processing time. These changes will ensure that residents continue to benefit from consistent program delivery. Similar measures have been introduced by other departments within the Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT).

Residents are encouraged to contact their Client Navigator, Career Development Officer, or Early Childhood Consultant during the new office hours for assistance. For a list of contacts, visit ECE Service Centres | Education, Culture and Employment.

ECE remains dedicated to ensuring that individuals, families, and communities across the territory continue to have timely access to the programs they rely on.
