The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) is expanding the Mackenzie Valley Highway project scope from Wrigley to the Dempster Highway, south of Inuvik.
The Mackenzie Valley Environmental Impact Review Board (MVEIRB) will therefore be hosting a series of community engagement meetings about the re-scoping of the Environmental Assessment for the Highway project.
GNWT representatives will attend the sessions to present the updated project description, answer questions and receive feedback on the Project.
Residents are invited to review information, ask questions, and share their feedback and local knowledge during the following community sessions:
- Norman Wells: September 22nd, Legion, 3-8pm
- Fort Good Hope: September 23rd, Community Hall, 2-7pm
- Tulita: September 24th, Tulita Cultural Centre, 3-8pm
Dinner will be provided.
More information can be found on the MVEIRB’s Event Poster.
