Temporary Closure of Little Buffalo River Crossing Territorial Park

Public Service Announcement

Yellowknife — July 18, 2024

Due to increasing fire danger in proximity to the park, a temporary closure has been put into effect for Little Buffalo River Crossing Territorial Park near Fort Resolution.

The temporary closure is effective immediately and will remain in place until it is safe to reopen. Should the park reopen prior to July 30, 2024, it would be subject to a fire ban until at least that time as an order is currently in effect for the park.
